What Are Design Accents?

Design Accents are a new collection of illustrations, text elements, and decorative flourishes that you can drag and drop into your photo books, calendars, and cards. They include:

How to Locate and Use Design Accents

Regardless of whether you're designing with Mimeo Photos on the web, on your Mac, or on your iPhone/iPad, you can access these new design elements by clicking either the "Design Accents" icon (on the web and iPhone/iPad) or the "Accents" icon (on Mac) on the right side of the designer screen.

Changing the Color of a Design Accent

Many of the Design Accents feature a blue paint bucket tool in the righthand corner of the preview icon. For these elements, you can adjust the color of the Design Accent after adding it to your project.

Once you've clicked on the accent to add it to your project, a paint bucket tool will appear along the bottom of the design accents panel – click it and you'll be able to select a new color for that Design Accent. If you decide to change the color later, just click the accent in your project, then navigate to the Design Accents panel to adjust the color.
